Renewing the Mind 👤

February 16, 2017

How amazing that we have the power and authority to change our mind and in turn change the course of our lives. Faith. Truth. Love. They seem hard to come by in today’s society. Sometimes it even feels like a fight to get to them. Keep fighting the good fight. Capture that stinkin thinkin and replace it with faith truth and love. So grateful for God’s word that supplies an endless amount of encouragement and hope to renew my mind and heal any hurts that would hold me back from walking in greatness and abundance. Press on my beautiful and treasured friends! 🙌🏻💂🏼‍♀️

It’s hard to have faith because of fear. Fear of the future fear of failure fear of rejection fear of judgement fear of so many things from our currpundinga or even growing up.

Truth. What even is the truth anymore? Who can we trust? People let us down. People and institutions will do things wrong. We will feel offended. We will feel like they have hurt us. Then the enemy’s greatest tactic discrouagement sets in. Then doubt. Then we find ourselves in this cycle.

Love. We love so many things. From food to people to things to places. But when the hard times come, no one is to be found. And this is when love is supposed to sustain. Through the hard times. Through the weeds of life. Through the difficulties. Our purpose in life is to learn this love and then love it out. It changes everything and I believe can change the world.

God’s word allows us to learn these qualities – faith truth and love, that will free us from addictions, hurts, bad habits and allow us to walk in confidence, freedom, and completely healed.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1

As a matter of honor, one man owes it to another to manifest the truth. Thomas Aquinas

“Faith hope and love, but the greatest of these is love. If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.”
