Homemade Hummus

Y’all I love a good hummus but depending on the brand it can be very high in carbs. Chick peas naturally are, and when you incorporate other ingredients it just increases.

I have found a DELICiOUS recipe that is guilt free!!

You can put it on a thin piece or bread, a cracker, carrots, any veggie really and eat it by the spoon!

For the hummus

1 can Organic chick peas

Juice of one lemon

1 teaspoon minced garlic

4 tablesp water

2 teaspoons Tahini (organic if possible)

Throw all of that into the Ninja (I love the new one we just got from Amazon – I use it multiple times a day).

Blend it up and serve.

If you really want to get fancy, top it with some paprika, feta cheese and even sliced pickles.
